| To me it seems, there are many Hypselodoris nudibranchs that show characteristicts of both species, Hypselodoris apolegma and Hypselodoris bullockii. The photos below for example show a nudibranch with the head of Hypselodoris apolegma and the body of Hypselodoris bullockii.
Die 2 obenstehenden Fotos zeigen ein Beispiel, wo die Zuordnung zu Hypselodoris apolegma oder Hypselodoris bullockii sehr schwierig ist. Während der Kopf charakteristisch für Hypselodoris apolegma ist, ist der Körper typisch für Hypselodoris bullockii. Meiner Meinung nach müssen diese Arten und weitere Variationen noch einmal geanu angesehen werden. |

| Hypselodoris nigrostriata and Hypselodoris zephyra are difficult to distinguish. In Hypselodoris zephyra the dark blue lines usually run parallel to each other, in Hypselodoris nigrostriata they cross each other diagonally. However this might be a single species which varies slightly in colour pattern across its geographic range. Es ist schwierig, Hypselodoris nigrostriata und Hypselodoris zephyra
zu unterscheiden. Bei Hypselodoris zephyra laufen die dunklen Linien parallel
zueinander, in Hypselodoris nigrostriata überschneiden sie sich.
Die Unterschiede sind nicht sehr ausgeprägt, so dass vermutet wird,
dass es sich um die gleiche Art handelt, die aber eine etwas andere Zeichnung
in den jeweiligen Verbreitungsgebieten zeigt. |
