Stingfisch

This fish belongs to the family of scorpionfishes and is also called Orangebanded stingfish. It is typically found on sand or mud bottom. Like the devilfish the stingfish has pectoral fins that can be moved independently from the rest of the fin and are used for locomotion like legs. Typical are the protruding eyes.
I found this stingfish when starting from the shore towards the reef. It was very well camouflaged and disappeared after just one photo but I noticed the special fins and somewhat roundish head.

Dieser Stingfish (ich habe keine deutsche Übersetzung des Namens gefunden) gehört zu den Skorpionfischen. Wie der Teufelsfisch hat er ebenfalls Flossenstrahlen an den Brustflossen, die er unabhängig bewegen kann, so dass er wie auf Beinen herumlaufen kann. Typisch für diesen Fisch sind die hervorragenden Augen.
Diesen Stingfisch habe ich in der Nähe des Strandes auf dem Sand gefunden. Er war sehr gut getarnt und verschwand sofort, nachdem ich ein Foto geschossen hatte.
