Wentletraps snail / Wendeltreppe-Schnecke

(Epitonium b.)

wentletraps - Wendeltreppe

This snail likes to eat the polyps of the tubastrea corals. With the proboscis (can be seen just reaching for the next polyp) she sucks out the polyp and at the same time lays her eggs (yellow balls). The eggs are perfectly camouflaged.
